Either baby is getting sick, eating something that is bothering them, or teething. Mucus can be present with all these

Have they been congested lately? Teething/drooling a lot? Are you breastfeeding? If so, have you made any changes in your diet? Any of these factors could contribute to a mucousy bowel movement. If it continues frequently though I would bring it up to your LO's doctor but if it is a one off I wouldn't be concerned about it.
