How much are you feeding??

So, I was told 2oz was what I should be giving my daughter. However, there are multiple times that she needs more than the 2oz, even with feeding every 2-3 hours. Has anybody been told anything different??

I've just had a baby 3weeks old now an she was on 2oz at first an was drinking it all an she would still cry for more so then we put her up to 3oz an she was ok with that for a little bit but then she would cry again for that bit more so we put her on 4oz an she's 3+1weeks an sometime she can still won't that extra 1-2oz just to top her up so I'll just give it to her as that's what my health visitor told me to do if she won't it...

If she’s still hungry then up here to 3oz and see how she gets on. My baby is only 6 weeks old and is having 5oz🙈 but he feeds every 5/6 hours x

From the sounds of a comment it sounds like cluster feeding. 1oz for every hour is what it should be. So if feeding every 2hrs it would be 2oz. Pace feeding needs to be done here. Especially if you’re feeding breastmilk. And at almost 2wks old it would be 2-2.5oz.
