Pregnant?!

So I’m 8 days late on my period, I got off birth control a couple weeks ago because I hated the side effects, so I knew the chances of getting pregnant. I’m 20 and my bf is 21 and we have a fur baby, and apartment, and a car together and both employeed! I took a test today just cuz (4/14/22) and it came out positive! I’m gonna take another one later at home when my lover is at work, but if it also comes out positive.. when and how should I tell my bf? This would be our first kid! And I’m really excited and nervous..
