When is too early for a pregnancy test

I’m only 5 dpo and 9 days until my next period but I really wanna test but I’m sure it will be negative.. 
opinions? How early have you guys tested and got a positive

5dpo is definitely too early to test, I started at 7dpo because I have no will power what so ever 😂 I got my positive at 9dpo but everyone is different, sending lots of baby dust

This pregnancy I started to test at 7dpo and I got a very faint positive I didn’t get my BFP until I was 11dpo.
