I feel so stupid 😵‍💫😥😓

So I just started working as a medical assistant this month and usually there’s a lot of people in the office to help me but all the doctors are working from home today so besides the receptionist I’m the only one here right now. This guy just came in for labs and his veins weren’t good. I only felt one in his arm and it was kinda there kinda not so I decided to draw from his hand. The one that I should of drawn from was the same way, I kinda felt it but did not feel 100% confident so I went for a more prominent one that was at an angle. 😣 I only got a tiny amount of blood so I was trying to gently re adjust the needle and I either blew this guy’s vein or gave him a hematoma cause the needle site got all swelled up. Of course I immediately took the needle out and applied pressure but god I feel like an idiot I’ve never fucked up that badly on a blood draw. And of course since there’s no other MAs here right now the poor guy had to reschedule 🙃🥲
