Regular Argument

Brianna

My husband works 10:30 am to 7 pm. I wait for him to get home before I take my evening shower so he can watch our 3 mo. She almost always cries because she wants mommy so he has to sit in the bathroom where she can see me. He hates doing this and told me I should start showering before he gets home so he doesn’t have to deal with her. He also gets aggravated if I take too long with my evening routine (flossing, brushing teeth, brushing hair, getting dressed after shower, etc.) because he wants some time to chill out after work w/o handling our daughter. We butt heads also because that hour he wants to chill out and not watch our daughter is really the only hour I get away from her a day. We argue about this stuff all the time and I have no idea what to do. I feel like he wants me to give up my self care, but I literally do the bare minimum so I can get back to our daughter as quickly as possible. I’m slowly losing my mind as it is and if I have to give up any of my basic hygiene I’m going to have to go to the looney bin. Not sure if this is more of a vent, me looking for woman in similar situations, or some reassurance, but help a SAHM out.
