Would you be bothered by this?

If your neighbour went out every weekend in normal day time hours and worked on his very loud car. Revving and beeping the horn to check if it’s working etc, taking it for test drives very loudly. Say every Saturday from 10 until 4 and sometimes Sunday? And also their yard is full of car parts and stuff and looks very messy?

I’d be bothered, sure, but I’d also mind my business. The only time I get super annoyed with neighborhood noise is when it’s late at night and wakes up my kids.

One of the reasons I live in a HOA community—it’s against the rules to work on your vehicles here. I get annoyed by my neighbor with the loud car who warms it up for 15 minutes outside my office window. He’s not doing anything wrong at all, it’s just a noise that bothers me which is my own issue.

You'd hate my husband 😂😂😂 but in general, if someone is being loud but it's normal daytime hours, it just doesn't matter if it bothers me or not because they're allowed to make noise at their own home.

It would be annoying, but if it's during daylight hours, there's nothing you can do about it. We have neighbours who spend all weekend mowing the lawn, blowing leaves, and using every other power tool known to man from the crack of dawn till dusk. 🤷

I do hate it. With a passion. I have young kids that nap during the day. However, I'm one of those people who worry too much what other people think and its exhausting. I worry that if I let my dogs outside and they bark once that we will get called on or blacklisted by our neighbors as the problem house. So, honestly, just live your life and don't worry what other people think. As long as they aren't banging on your door yelling about the noise, I'm sure its fine.

I’m not bothered about what my neighbors are doing in and around their house lol. As long as you’re not waking up in the middle of the night to one of those fancy horn sounds and a drag race I’d ignore it😂
