Is my husband cheating or I’m I overreacting?

So my husband said he had an appointment with his coworker for about an hour which he had his coworker on speaker so I knew where he was going. I was cooking and my 9month old was disturbing me so I called to find out where he was at and if he went to the store. And he confirmed yes I went to the store but I’m coming.

We hung up the phone and after an hour he still wasn’t home. He came home empty handed and when I asked what did he buy and if he went to the store he said no he didn’t go to the store. I asked where he went then but he didn’t answer me.

Now I’m kind of wondering if he’s cheating and went somewhere he didn’t want me to know. I really wanna dig in but I know he won’t tell me and I don’t want to start a fight. He knows my password but always hid his when opening his lock and very secretive when it comes tp his phone.

Any advice? I’m just wondering if I’m overreacting. He was gone for 3 hours and he said he met his friend couldn’t do what he went there to do. So where was he all this while.
