Nexplanon/Implanon pregnancy worries

Hey y'all.

I've been on the implant for almost 4 years now, and my removal date is coming up in June, but I scheduled for May.

I had unprotected sex earlier this month and I was wondering if I had any reason to worry. I'm worried about it just becoming less effective or not working. I bought some tests and I'm going to take them, but my periods on this birth control have either skipped a month or two, or they're just a bit late.

I think I started ovulating a few days ago, so I might just be getting overly paranoid. It definitely doesn't help that my cousin said she got pregnant while using this lol.

Tl;dr, I just need advice or some facts to ease my anxiety.
