Anatomy Scan

Hey ladies,

This is my first pregnancy and i just had my anatomy scan. I’m 22wkds and 4 days. My baby wasn’t really cooperating so they weren’t able to get all of the pictures but some of them. They want me to come back in 4 weeks for a repeat US to get the rest of the pictures. But they did tell us that our baby had some neck thickening and said that could be indicative of Down’s syndrome. Neither of us have a family history and i just turned 23 years old. But they encourages us to do the genetic blood test screening, which we did. Takes about a week to come back. Me and my husband are worried and kind of freaking out to be honest. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them and what the outcome has been, maybe offering some words of relief/advice.
