BIPOLAR SSI

Does anyone know anyone or they themselves receive SSI benefits for mental health?

I suffer from bipolar and my moods are rapidly changing.

I really try to get a hold of my thoughts/feelings/moods but I can’t control it on my own. I just started a new medication. I’ve been on so many different meds through out the last few years.

Im really struggling at my current job and my dr suggested I take a medical LOA. I was close to even being admitted about 2 weeks ago.
