it felt off since the moment i got the piercing but i never realized how bad it was till my friend took a pic of it for me. i use saline on it like in the morning n before bed, and this was right after school. my other piercing is absolutely fine, but this one j never seems to get better. its only been a couple of days but im annoyed

No it’s not normal but yes it is normal 🤣 make sure the backing isn’t too tight, and clean the piercing couple times a day. I would stay away from touching the piercing.. sometimes you just gotta let it heal on its own. Give it at least a week and see if the area has healed a little bit.

I'd get rid of those butterfly back style earrings. They are horrible, they collect all kinds of bacteria and it's almost impossible to properly clean and can easily be tightened too much around the piercing. Get a labret bar or barbell style bar.

Oh, no this is not... hydrogen peroxide? Coconut oil? Both things can help fight the infection. Saline (salt water) can help too. We're you told to put anything on? I have a few piercings but it's been over à decade I can't remember what the healing process was like for treatment, the worst I'd seen was some swelling.
