Is it tacky to send out electronic baby shower invites?

My husband and I want to send out baby invites but don’t want to spend the money to get them made. So I played on my ipad and made an electronic one! But I’m never out about just texting it out to family/friends since I don’t know if it’s socially acceptable???

I went digital I found a app that made the invitation for me even with a little virtual envelope that opened to reveal the invite , it allowed them to rsvp via the link , view the registry link , and I could mass send invites but adding all the numbers . I was happy with it !

do it digitally, for our gender reveal we bought physical invites & half of them never even received them 🙄 it’s a waste of money tbh

I’m doing digital too because I refuse to spend the money on a physical invite that they’ll throw away anyways 🤷🏻‍♀️
