How to move on from breastfeeding to bottle?

Hi Mamma’s,
I’m not producing enough milk even with the prescribed tablets to increase my milk, so I need to move exclusively bottle. How do you mentally be OK with that? I have a lot of gilt and sadness around it. Xx

If you have consulted an IBCLC, worked and done everything possible - then tell yourself that baby is fed and that's what's important. Doing both is a compromise for many.

I cried a lot. Felt all the feels. 
Lived with it, and then learned to accept it. You’ll get there 😔

I had tons of guilt until we went cold turkey. As soon as he was on the bottle and on formula, he did a ton better. He was getting full feeds and started sleeping through the night. Once it was done I was actually filled with a lot of relief and my stress disappeared. I was no longer worried about his growth and how much was he drinking. 
I held on for so long, I wish someone would have told me everything was going to be okay.
