What to do when you Drink

Question

Ok, what exactly are the rules for when you drink? I didn’t mix with anything, so it was straight alcohol. I had maybe 1oz if your looking on a baby bottle? Maybe under? I didn’t measure it. 
Basically just wanna know if I have to pump and dump a supply or is just waiting and not pumping and dumping fine? She’ll be having formula next feed just to be safe even if I do pump and dump. 
Just trying to make sure nothing gets passed to baby!

Sober enough to drink sober enough to feed! 
Very very little gets passed into your breast milk so you’d need to drink a very large quantity to effect your breast milk.
Their is never a need to pump and dump. If you ever get too drunk to feed, you can either wait until you feel sober enough or pump for comfort and label as drunk milk for a future milk bath! Alcohol leaves breast milk at the same rate it leaves your bloodstream.

There's a few philosophies on this, but the 2 most common ones are:
-if you're safe to drive, you're safe to breastfeed.
-wait 2 hrs for every drink. No need to pump and dump.

Never ever a need to pump and dump unless you’re so unbelievably wasted you can’t even find and care for your baby. One drink means you can nurse or pump whenever you want. Baby will not get that alcohol. If you’re sober enough to drive, you’re sober enough to feed baby or pump. Really no need to use formula or anything
