Feeling proud of myself!
SO January 2019 I gained 11lbs in one month, went to the Dr and found out I have hashimotos hypothyroidism. Well May 2019, I got pregnant with our first baby. Made it 15 weeks and had a late mmc in August 2019. October 2019 I fell pregnant again at 160lbs. Gained 15lbs during pregnancy in total and gave birth at 175lbs. Within two months pp, I lost all the weight I gained and then some. Didn't exercise besides breastfeeding but ooohhhh those breastfeeding cravings. I breastfed for a total of 1 year and 3 months while eating all of the cravings I had, not exercising, and steadily gaining all of the weight back I had lost pp (continued to breastfeed when I started changing my lifestyle). I started hating my body more than I normally did so in September 2021, I decided to do something about it. I started counting calories (just so I could make sure I was in a deficit and only eating about 1500 calories a day, eating healthier foods than I used to and trying new healthier foods I had never eaten before, and making sure I was exercising at least 5 or 6 days a week (usually at least going for a 30-50 minute walk since I could have my son in the stroller). By November 25, 2021 I had lost 4lbs. I messed up the following month due to seasonal depression, holidays, and regular depression that got worse when my dog of 13 years passed away... But now, 5 months into working out consistently and eating better, I have lost 18lbs!!! And I can actually see a difference. It's nowhere near where I wanna be (my goal is around 130lbs) but it's a start!
