What’s the best lock to prevent my daughter from opening up the sliding glass door?

She knows how to open up the current lock and likes to open it up and run out back! She’s only 3 so she can’t go out back on her own. I see so many child locks for sliding glass doors and I don’t know which to choose. Give me some suggestions!

They have metal locks that go on the base of the sliding door. That way she won't be able to unlock it even if she tried. You can find them at Home Depot or any of those types of stores.

Get a broom stick and cut it down to the exact size as the space between the side of the door and the all (on the side it slides open to) and place it in the track on the bottom so when the door tries to open, it jams and literally can't open unless the stick is moved.
