How long did it take to wean your LO from pacifier?

I know it’s different for every child, but I’m trying to mentally prepare for it.

My daughter loved her. Like absolutely loved it and I thought it was going to be the hardest thing ever. But once I’d decided that was it, it was actually quite easy. We explained and She gave it to the fairy’s and she asked repeatedly for a good few days but was rewarded massively for not having it. And I think after about a week she stopped asking and we stopped spending a fortune on pointless shit to compensate 😂

I used this and went super slowly through the stages, starting with naps, then when we were at no pacifier for naps, did it for bedtime. I did maybe a week at each phase of pacifier, and it worked great!

My girl was OBSESSED with her soother.  It was crazy.  But it took about 4 days, with only one night of big feelings.  I was really surprised

Our daughter wouldn't take one when she had hand, foot and mouth. So after four days without and she didn't ask for it, we just made sure to keep them all away.
But you could easily tell she missed them. It took months for her to find a new way to calm down for bed.

Over night pretty much. 
We "forgot" them all after Christmas at my mother's and told him her dog needed it.
