Feel alone

My fiancé left me.

We don’t live in the same town currently, we wanted to move in after we got married. Anyway, I went to a small get together… we ate & I had wine for the first time in a long time. My fiancé wants to have a sober lifestyle, for the both of us. He’s 4 years older than I am. So, he left me.

I guess it’s my fault, I didn’t respect him & our relationship to decline the wine. Now my poor decision has caused our engagement to end. I felt so off today… I took the ring off about an hr after because it hurt to see it on. I feel it wouldn’t be fair of me to ask him to stay & forgive me, so I had to respect his decision. Now he’s just, not in my life anymore & I’m really missing him. 😔

*edit* he isn’t a recovering addict, he just doesn’t drink. He drank once when he was 23 but hasn’t drank since than.

Nothing else more to the story other than we made a promise we’d be sober together.
