My gums 😩😭

I was flossing tonight, hadn’t flossed in a couple days so over due and I guess I was pretty aggressive, not the first time I’ve accidentally been overly aggressive. Probably accidentally went over the same teeth a couple times. Earlier in the night my mouth was throbbing a bit but no big deal like I said I was overly aggressive of course my gums are going to be inflamed. Just made sure to rinse my mouth out with listerine again. Well, all of a sudden I feel this thing on my upper k-9 tooth. It’s my gum right there, super swollen in the back to the point where it’s basically covering the back of that tooth. Wtf 🤬 so I’m trying to take a look and I can barely see anything but I can tell my gum is definitely swollen back there. I’ve never seen this happen or heard about this happening. Google is no help. So I wake my husband up to look and all he can say is that’s normal it’s healing 🙄.

But now I’m freaking out because this isn’t normal I’m paranoid that a big chunk of gum is going to end up being ripped out and I’m scared it’s going to keep growing.
