My mom

My mom suffers from bipolar schizophrenia. About two weeks ago she had to go to psych facility because she went into a manic episode. But was able to get out early because she knows the system and how to say the right things. I have been dealing with her manic episodes for as long as i can remember so it doesn’t necessarily effect me anymore. She is still not back to her normal self. She continues to do the things that can cause her to have another manic episode. I now have a one and a half year old son like i said she isn’t in a manic stage right now but she its literally one bad incident in her day away from it. She lives an hour and a half away and wants me to and my son to come see her today.. I know family is family but am I a bad person for not wanting my son in that environment?
