How frequent do you talk to your SO?

I know I may seem a little obsessive but if Were texting and I’m responding almost immediately, I don’t understand why it takes someone hours to reply if they say they aren’t busy.. idk am I being too cringe? He says he wants to take us seriously but it gives me reasonable speculations

I’d recommend you relax. Most people don’t sit on the couch and just text; they do other things at the same time (running errands, text while at work, making dinner, etc). Something could have come up that took away their attention and they didn’t have the time or think to let you know. Texting is a much more informal way of talking and it’s implied that it may take time to “get back to you”.

My husband and I text all day long while we are apart. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We like it that way. It works for us, but I know others that don’t talk all day and it’s totally fine with them.
Every relationship is different.
If my husband or I didn’t to respond to eachother in a really long time we would get worried.

I’ve been with my partner for 5 years I still reply straight away he still takes his merry time. I wouldn’t speculate just because he’s not replying to you quickly that’s a pretty immature response if that’s the only action which has ‘cause of concern’

There’s times I forget to text my husband back 🤷🏼‍♀️. We text while he’s at work but neither of us always replies the second we get a text . Not everyone replies immediately and he could very well be doing something .

My husband is TERRIBLE about texting back. And we have our read receipts on which is infuriating. But If it’s nothing important, I let it go. But if I need him, he knows to respond. He is really good about responding when I’m pregnant though and answering his phone. You can try to talk to him. Make him understand it’s important to you to hear back from him in the things that need to be responded to. But If it’s like a good morning. Or I love you. Or something. I don’t get hung up on it. He loves me too he just got busy and I get it.

He and my bf text throughout the day when were not working. We both keep busy tho, so sometimes we respond right away, which he loves when i do, and sometimes one person is taking a nap, or hes fixing up his car, or im cooking. We each lead our own lives. But we text everyday. Some days more frequently then other days. But its not a big deal

My bf works all day can’t touch his phone . I work as a reacher and I could in small moments but know he won’t be able to respond. Speak to him about it and how you want to communicate better

I haven’t texted him since last Thursday 😂 I see him everyday though! We just call or FaceTime when we’re apart and need to reach each other
