Would you go to the movies if your period started that same day?

My boyfriend bought the tickets already. And my period unexpectedly started right now 😭😭😭😭 im so sad. Because the movie is long and im scared it will bleed thru my pants bc of my heavy flow. Also sad because i wanted to have clean sex.

You can go to bathroom during the movie. Life doesn’t stop just because period showed up (unless you have endo - then it’s hard to even get out of bed). 
Pack some tampons/pads/cups whatever your preference and enjoy the date night.

I just did this and did both tampon and pad, also dressed cozy and took pain relief beforehand. Then I snacked on chocolate and ice cream and it was actually really nice 🥰

I would still go. Take a couple extra pads and change partway through the movie or, pick up a box of the disposable nighttime period undies. They hold a lot and have excellent coverage. If you have bad cramps, take some ibuprofen before you go. That is, if you want to do all that stuff. If you don't, let me know you aren't feeling up to going and to call a friend so he doesn't have to miss the movie.
