Tips on breastfeeding 🥴
So with my first born I tried to breast feed and I had colostrum, but I never got the hang of it and I have up 2-3 days in because it hurt and I was going through a mental thing, which led to me telling myself I was just one of the women who will never be able to breast feed, BUT I'm pregnant with baby #2 and I wanted to give it a try again when he is born (especially with the formula shortage).
I know one problem with the first attempt was leaving the hospital uninformed and having no clue what to do, but I am trying to get as much information on it as possible because it's something I really want to do to ensure that my baby has a chance at eating. I know you can get lactation supplements and stuff like that, but I need advice from moms who were kind of in the same boat.
I had a breast pump and I did use it but the thing didn't fit my boob so the colostrum I was pumping out it wouldn't go into the container it would just make around the thing wet (I feel like having colostrum was a good sign I could have breast fed if I would have stuck it out) but I really need advice and opinions.
This is something I want to do not only to feed my son but to prove to myself that I'm not a failure and that my body can do it
