Single and pregnant

Can any of you ladies relate to this? I’m going on 5 months and my baby’s dad claims he wants to make things work but honestly I don’t feel it. And the more I think about it the less I like him, and am considering just being single and coparenting once baby gets here. Is it really that bad to be a single mom? I rather be alone than wondering if he’s telling the truth etc.
