anyone here work in criminal justice/forensics field??

idk where to post this but i got out of a relationship w my sons father in january & im just now getting to the point i want to do better for myself and succeed with or without him. i’m 22, never started college. in april i got on TANF and i just found out today they will pay for my tuition so of course i’m gonna use that to my advantage of just go for it. im really into murder documentaries and true crime. i have experience w the deceased already because i have worked in a hospital and i had to bag the patients and take them to the morgue. i would like something that does not require police academy experience! does anyone here work in this field? if so, what’s your title? salary if comfortable sharing & most of all, do you enjoy it? thank you 🥰

Depends what you want to go into, if you want to go into Secret Service, you just need a bachelors degree, and some experience like security or banking or depending what you want your specialty to be. I have family that are Secret Service, and you have to take the test, go to the Academy, it’s a year long process to get him obviously the more experience like military or police or security etc. the easier it is to get in . They do a massive background check all the way back to the hospital you were born, neighbors, an eight hour lie detector test they ask you everything from have you ever done drugs to have you Ever still want to pencil all the way up to we ever lied to your mother. Can you take a test, you got to get 80% or higher, they do a home interview, your family gets a background check every three years as well, they check with your neighbors, it’s a good field, my family makes well over 150,000, they got in about 23 years ago. Their specialty is counterfeit and electronic fraud. I also have detectives and internal affairs, my detective with narcotics and different divisions he makes around 115,000, a guy I know in internal affairs, he makes about 98k, 25 years and you get your pension and retire. The sky is the limit, good luck
