Vistaril for contractions

Has anyone been prescribed Vistaril for contractions/irritable uterus? I’m 30 weeks and have been having contractions on and off since about 26 weeks when I was diagnosed with preterm labor and cervical dilation. Did Vistaril help your contractions? I feel like it calms me down but doesn’t necessarily help with the actual contractions im having. Also I read online it’s not safe for pregnancy as it can cause seizures to the baby if labor is near..?? Any experiences with this medication and if it helped you?
