prodromal labor?

could i be experiencing prodromal labor or are they strictly braxton hicks. they hurt and i fell them in my butthole. they HURT but they never last so i never make it to the hospital. i’ve never went thru this before with other pregnancies. this is pregnancy number 6 but i only have 3 alive at home. and i’m 33 weeks.

I had it when I was about 38 weeks with my last until about 40 weeks…like seriously…kept thinking this was it and they wouldn’t ever be consistent. My doctor would check me and I’d get like .5cm dilated each week so I think they were doing something but idk. I didn’t have my boy until 42 weeks and it was my first. They just stopped around 40 weeks and then when I was exactly 42 weeks I got checked and I was at 7cm! Had no clue
