One breast drying up?
Hello all! I was wondering if someone could help me out or experienced this before. I’ve been breast feeding and pumping for a little over a year now. My daughter just turned a year old and we’ve started switching her over to whole milk. She gets two bottles still and we’ve switch the 3rd over to a sippy with half whole milk and half breast milk.
We nurse in the morning, and I pump twice while I’m at work, 30 min each session.
My left boob has always been the party boob and my right always the slacker. However this morning it was more slacker than usual when I went for my first pump. I got a half Oz when I normally get 2-1.5 Oz on my right. My left seems the same, producing 4oz.
Is there a way to fix it? I’m not ready to stop yet, as a COVID vax is not available for her yet, and she’s still interested in nursing when we nurse full time on the weekends. (I don’t want anyone debating vaccine efficacy, I will block you.)
Has anyone gone through this before?
