Shooting blanks

So a guy was trying to explain the meaning of that and he said it’s like when guys nut but there’s no sperm

I was telling him how a guy I was messing around with claims that his nut apparently doesn’t “work” and I won’t get pregnant

I obviously don’t believe that’s that’s what my ex said to me before and long behold he has a baby now.

But is that true ? And could u still get pregnant if there’s not sperm I’m very confused
