Inducing naturally??(read post)

Question

I am being induced for preeclampsia. And I really don’t want to be. Is it irresponsible to try to naturally induce labor at home a week or two before????
Note: to me natural ways to induce are sex, walking, using a yoga ball, nipple play. Feel free to add ways to help!

If any of these things induced labor, it would not be a good idea to do them. But since they don’t, you can do them freely whenever you want.
All of the things you mentioned can help progress labor once it has already started. Nothing you do at home will induce labor though. A sweep or a medical induction are really your only options for that.

Id wait until 37 weeks tbh because anything before that is considered preterm. Even at 37 there are some risks so if safe to do so, id leave baby cooking as long as possible and go with the induction. I know its hard and no one wants to be induced but there is a lot of success stories for induction.

I wouldn’t. I had my son at 37 weeks when I went into natural labor. he was very tiny and had lots of “preemie problems” he was jaundice and as a result breastfeeding didn’t go well for us at all. I didn’t intend to induce myself purposefully but we did have sex because we wanted to.

Some babies need to be in NICU at 35 weeks so I’d wait until 36 minimum!! 
I was induced at 37w2d with my first and will be induced 37w3d with this one because of preeclampsia. It is safer to just let the drugs induce you. 
I won’t lie though, I plan on doing the same things in hopes I’ll be further asking than my first!
