Have you found the person you want to spend the rest of your life with?

I think ive found my person. Im so happy, just thinking about him, and remembering us deeply gazing into each others eyes last night for a long while. Repeating to each other how much we love the other. How he says he cant wait to make me his wife and for me to have his children. I already have a 2 year old from another man, and he does his best to be the best boyfriend and father figure. 2 years later and our love is stronger than ever. Ive never truly been able to picture getting married to anyone ever. But he just is it. He’s my person. We’ve both never felt this way about anyone before. We have those difficult conversations and we communicate respectfully through them easily. We can be goofballs together, we can also be serious together. I get incredibly emotional and teary eyed imagining myself walking down the isle staring into his eyes. Picturing myself standing there listening to his vows. And for someone that never believed in marriage, i want it with him. He makes me cry tears of happiness and i love him. I know how tough life can be and how disagreements can occur. We’ve faced very hard times (not dealbreakers) and easily come out stronger. We are also like the same exact person, its weird. Finishing each others sentences all the time. And saying the exact same RANDOM thing at a random moment during a movie. He is my love, and i hope it lasts.

Ive been through terrible relationships since the age of 18. Ive been raped, verbally abused, even a little physically. Ive been cheated on by every past partner. Ive been with a narcissist; not to use that word lightly. As a hopeless romantic, this is what ive always dreamed of, and i finally have him.
