getting played .. venting

had this guy message me about a month ago. we exchanged conversation and then set up a date for the same week. the conversation up until the first date was consistent and fast it seemed like he was interested in me and vibes were there. we hang out & after the date we part ways. halfway home he messaged me again and asked if i wanted to get food i agreed and turned around to meet up. we vibe & talk in the car we ended up having sex. initially i didn’t plan on doing anything bc i was on my period but things just happened (no judgment pls) anyway he seemed to be still interested after and we continued to message back & forth. fast forward to now the conversation has gotten shorter, and he seems to sometimes only message me at night or only want to see me at night. he doesn’t even go through the trouble of making actual plans anymore he just wants to hang out in his or my car. he claims that it isn’t all about sex but says that if that’s the vibe he won’t stop it. when trying to get clarification on where we stood he basically told me to “embrace the vibe”.

i basically know that he’s only using me for his benefit and just buttering me up & trying to make it seem like he’s more interested than it seems. he sometimes goes days without messaging me & then says he thought he responded or just goes on like nothing happened. i’ve been trying to be cool and just go with the flow of things especially since he’s the first guy i’ve encountered since my break up of 4 & half years two months ago. it just sucks that this is my first “experience” back out in the dating world. mind you our source of communication is messenger i guess i’m not even worth him giving me his actual number. and he initiates sex every time we hang out. the one time i denied it he basically kept begging me to finish and how i’d leave him with blue balls. i’m not really a girl who can continue to have sex with someone with no connection so i’ve tried to take a step back from that with him. & i’m pretty vocal about that. i’m disappointed in myself bc i definitely should know better.

don’t really have too many people to talk to nor do i like people in my business so i’m just venting here .. it’s long.
