Is crying to sleep with someone there CIO?

Our 4 months old only lets me comfort her. If her dad brings her to bed, she cries until she falls asleep. Would you consider this crying it out?

If you do your best to calm baby and baby still cries to sleep, he is not lef alone he has comfort.

No, our daughter was very difficult to soothe in the early months. She did plenty of crying but not for lack of family members carrying her around in every position imaginable all over the house 😅 We would literally take turns between me, my husband, my mom and step dad.

Personally, that made me uncomfortable and I didn’t feel right about it. So we slowly worked up to the baby being comforted by dad. We did not feel right about the endless crying when I was literally a room away and could easily make it stop.
