what comes first love or school

honestly as a teen. i was raised to believe school came first and then love. but then i met a guy and yeah we aren’t together but i really like him. but my parents would absolutely kill me if i wanted to persue him. so here i am asking what i hope would be my friends. what come first love or school?

I fell in love at 18 and got pregnant. Had my first baby at 19. 
Here I am at nearly 26 with 4 kids, and married to the man I fell in love with all those years ago. 
And I’m just now trying to get into the career I want. 
My opinion is to definitely do school first and get the career you want so you can support yourself. 
I would’ve waited, but it all happened so fast. It’s definitely been a struggle. I wouldn’t change it, of course. But it could’ve made my life a lot easier if I had been established before I settled down.

School. But you can be in a healthy relationship and continue to pursue an education. I dated in HS and college - some were flings and some were more serious and lengthy. Both degrees I earned with honors. Then I earned my master’s with honors while married. Currently back in grad school getting a particular license and still married.

School because people come and go, education does not. If you can balance both, great, but never choose love over school.

You can date and fall in love, but school should still be a priority.
Homework done before going out. Studying comes first. Keep the grades up. If grades begin to slip, re-evaluate if the relationship is too much of a distraction.
Me and my husband dated for 6 years before getting married and having kids because we wanted to finished college first. We do not regret this one bit. We wouldn’t be where we are today without our education.

You can balance both. I’m not one to judge and say no relationships till after school cause I started dating my husband at 16, we both graduated on time now we’re 22 married and living our best life. If you can balance both go for it.🤷🏻‍♀️ just because you get into a relationship doesn’t mean you can’t have anything else going on..
