Baby is sitting low ... should I worry?

Got a call from the Dr that baby is sitting low in the uterus and she wants me in next week for another US. She said that if the baby grows low it can challenge my ability to hold baby to term.  Has anyone heard of this? Have any suggestions? Should I be panicking? I'm about 9 weeks.

It's probably more a case of your uterus sitting low and not the actual baby. If your uterus is low they may put more restrictions on you for lifting, carrying, exercising, etc.

My aunt carried both of her boys extremely low. They both ended up being term but, from what I've heard over the years from her, her carrying so low caused her some struggles throughout her pregnancies.

I'm not a doctor but to me this sounds absurd. Your 9 weeks, of course the baby is low. I wouldn't stress about it.
