Lack of appetite… Covid?

I tested positive for Covid on the 26th and I’m about 98% recovered, just have mild congestion. But my appetite is nonexistent, everything sounds gross to me and I am forcing myself to eat from hunger pains. I can taste and smell fine but I just don’t want to eat. Anyone else experience this?! When did your appetite come back? I’m scared I’m going to lose a ton of weight.

I had a rough COVID experience. I’m health and fit. I had no appetite and lost my smell for the first 4 days. On top of that I got pneumonia and to my luck got the flu… this all was verified by testing when I went to the hospital. My doctor had me eat plain oatmeal and jello and bread. I lost 8 lb in 18 days. It was hard to eat because of how nauseous I would get. There’s not much you can do, if you can keep food down watch protein and carb rich food. When you are sick you don’t feel hungry because your body is focusing on more critical functions of survival, * fighting off a virus. You’ll be ok, I gained it back in 3 weeks.

That is legit me at this moment. I have no appetite... im currently on my 5th day of being Covid positive and I can't eat anything. I have no appetite and im nauseous.
