What age did you move your baby in to their own room?

My youngest is 7 months old and I have tried putting her in her cot in her own room but she's not coping at all. 
I don't know whether it's the cot or the room but she's waking up screaming crying all night.
I am going to move her cot in to my bedroom to try and see if that's any better.
How old was your little one when you moved them in to their own room?

Both of my boys were about 4-5 months. I started introducing the crib to them early by just laying them in it for a short period of time while I did laundry or cleaned the room, and at about 3 months I started doing naps in it. I think introducing them to the environment really helped because it was a familiar place by the time they were ready to sleep over night in it. They still woke up in the middle of the night but I'd just rock them back to sleep if needed or feed them, whichever.

About 6 weeks my boys went into their crib in their own rooms

I’m a FTM, my baby will be 6 months next week. She still doesn’t sleep through the night so that’s all we are waiting on lol😬😅 For now she sleeps in her crib in our room, hopefully within a few months we’ll be able to move her. We love her & want her to get used to her own room while she’s still little.

Somewhere around 7 months I think, I also used to do naps in there right from birth and when we started I would put her in there but if she had a hard night I would let her finish the night in our room.

My sons been in his own room since 3-4months. He babbles in his sleep and tosses and turns ALL.NIGHT.LONG! And I cannot stand it, so we have to be in separate rooms for my own sanity 😂! I’d start with naps in the room to try and transition slowly and smoothly. My son did really well with the transition and I did the gentle CIO method and he self soothes at 9 months. All I do is lay him in his crib and he puts himself to sleep and sleeps through the night so I’m very thankful for that haha

My oldest daughter was almost 2 before I moved her to her own room lol my youngest daughter was 4 months. Different circumstances warrant different outcomes. My oldest was about a year and my youngest we just moved him to another room and he is almost 2 as well.  I think whenever you feel most comfortable with the idea !

Both of mine went into their own room when he had to move them out of their bassinet at around 3 months. I slept on a bed in their room for a while- my son until he was 6 months (just to meet the Sid’s guidelines) and my daughter until 12 months (as she was still waking to feed 1-2 times a night).

I started with my oldest by putting his crib mattress of the floor of our room next to my side of the bed. That way I could rub his back or hold his hand as he fell asleep. Then once he got used to the crib mattress, I started putting it back in his crib. Getting some bedding with his favorite characters was what finally got him & eventually my youngest to both sleep in their own rooms
