Why is it only us brits put kisses in texts?

I've never seen anyone else part from us in the uk who put "xxx" at the end of messages? How comes 😂

Honestly, most people in the US don’t sign off on messages or texts. They just don’t respond to the conversation until they’re ready to talk again or change the subject. It’s usually a never ending thread of messages.

Theirs A LOT of things Brits do that us Americans don’t. Like I had a phone convo with an Australia women whom lives in Scotland and she asked me “How my diary looked” I was thinking to myself 🤔before I answered and then it came to me she meant my calendar. 😂 And I always thought Xo was hugs and kisses I would have thought “xxx” was some porn thing.

I think it comes from the fact we put kisses in our cards to each other, and as such we sign our texts of like we would a birthday card. 
I like it :) Makes me feel like we’re having a positive exchange
