I am not transphobic.

I am not afraid of transgender people. I just do not agree that it's actually a thing. I believe people can be gay, for sure, that's fine. But when I see a man, surgically altered to look like a woman, it gets me the wrong way.
There was a study where they took 12 prepubescent kids, all claiming to be transgender, and showed that the parents had convinced the children that they were transgender. This is wrong. It's make/female. No In between. Just because a boy picks up a doll, or a girl wants to play with trucks, that does not make them born in the wrong body. I think this is a fad going around.
SO MY QUESTION IS: Do you think people (be man or woman) should surgically alter themselves to create the illusion that they are the opposite of what is written on their birth certificate?
This is controversy corner. Do not hate me for sharing my opinion. Let's be adults about this, and respect what people have to say. Do not push your views on those who disagree. I'm simply curious.
