My baby’s turning 7 months on the 11th but I was wondering when I can start giving her vitamin D drops ? Her dr asked if we were giving them to her already but I didn’t ask when we actually could ?

Babies from birth to 1 year of age who are being breastfed should be given a daily supplement containing 8.5 to 10 micrograms of vitamin D to make sure they get enough.

We were told to give them from birth.
But I live in Northern Europe also. If you live somewhere where the half a year is not dark, then might not even need it. And if child is formula fed, also doesn't need it.
