Is it normal to be cramping while on birth control pills?

I’ve been taking my pills for almost 3 weeks now and today I had some bad cramping and my boobs are tender  is it normal to have that and is it safe to skip the sugar pills because I don’t want to have a period i ’m just gonna start a new pack when I run out of the hormonal

Yes, those are normal side effects of birth control, especially in the first few months. And yes, it’s perfectly fine to skip the sugar/placebo week & immediately start a new pack to try & skip ur withdrawal bleeding/“period”. Just be aware that u may still experience some spotting or light bleeding, especially since u only recently started the pills & it’s ur first time trying to intentionally skip that week.
