What age did you stop using a high chair?

My daughter will have just turned 2 when her sibling starts solids. Trying to figure out if I'll need a 2nd high chair or a booster seat. Thanks!

My boys are 2,5 and 4,5 till uses their Tripp trapp chairs for every meal. Don't see them stopping anytime soon.

My daughter is almost 13 months. She stopped using her high chair just before her birthday. She hates being confined and does so much better eating wise with her little table and chair set we have. She does okay in high chairs when we go out to eat though! Hoping her brother will do better in the high chair, he won't be doing solids until jan/Feb depending on when he's born(due in 7 weeks)

My son will be 3 in august and he still uses it for every meal! He loves it lol

My daughter turned 2 in April and she would be out of her highchair except our chairs are not safe for her to be on independently. We are waiting on a new dining set and as soon as that's in the highchair will be put away and she can just sit on the new chair.

We use the Nomi high chair which is a bit like the Trip Trap. She's 3 years old and we bought a new one for her baby sister because she'll be using it for years still 🤷🏻‍♀️

My daughter was around 18 months when she wanted to sit by herself. She has a little ikea table with mini chairs and loved to ate all her meals there. When she turned around 2.5 she decided she wanted to sit at the big table with us in an adult chair of her own. I think you should base your decision off your individual kid and their personality.

My son is 3.5. We use a high chair when we go out. At home, he has his own table and chairs. Until he was about 2.5, he got to choose the high chair or his table. He could still use the high chair, but I have a 7 month old now. When we get a new table, I may get him a booster seat just because he’s pretty small and I think he’ll eat better if he can’t get up so easily.

We haven’t used the highchair since well before my daughter was 18 months. We switched her to the booster seat and by the time she was 22 months she didn’t want any part of that either. From then on, she just sat in a chair like we do.
