Ex boyfriend trouble

Hi I'm 22 and I just started grad school this year. My ex and I dated basically all through college. We fought a lot but had more good times than bad. Now we are both graduated and he's moved over 12 hrs away. So we broke it off. But he still says he loves me and wants to be with me, and hasn't been with anyone else but  won't call or text me for weeks if I don't text or call 1st.  I'm also a really jealous  person. Should I move on or stick around till after grad school and see if we can fix it? I can't let any other guy close cause I don't want to mess up with him. Help me make a decision please!!
