Ladies what would you do if you were in this situation?

My bestfriend and I are having a drunk debate . I’ve been seeing and getting to know this guy . He’s really nice he’s just bad at communication which is a huge issue for me as an adult . He will go hours at a time without texting me back, calling or checking in. Today he went 11 hours without responding to my text, sometimes he’ll only send me a good morning text. Usually I’m very understanding, I understand that people get really busy sometimes but this happens pretty often. It’s also something that I’ve communicated that I don’t like at least three times. One thing about me is that I absolutely HATE repeating myself So if I have to repeat myself too many times about something that bothers me with no consistent change, either show them the same energy or just cut them off. That’s what I told my best friend I was going to do, and she insist that he such a good guy for me and that I should just try to wait it out and see if it gets better. I feel like I’ve already waited it out long enough it’s been almost two months . She said that I’m just impatient
