Overfeeding?

My son is 6 weeks 2 day old today. He is exclusively formula fed. He has gone up to having 90 ML feeds and the average he has per day is between 800 to 950 ML. However as of yesterday on two occasions he has demanded 120 ML. Is this normal?
Is it too soon? Is my baby consuming more than he should? I’m worried about overfeeding.

My LO was on 3oz until she was 2 months. Then she went to 4oz (120ml) for a couple weeks. She is 3 months now and drinks 5oz every feeding. She generally consumes 27-30oz a day. My daughter's pediatrician said the amount per bottle doesn't really matter as long as she isn't uncomfortable or spitting up excessively and exceeding 32oz or 950mls in a day.

Make sure you pace feed if you are using bottles or formula and that he’s not spitting up a lot after feeds but honestly just sounds like he’s a growing boy and a hungry one at that! 😂 shouldn’t be anything to worry about !

Just give the baby what he can eat.
There is no 1 rule fit all 6 week olds.
They can be different weight.

If hes hungry and wants that much just feed him. If he spits up then you know its to much. Pace feed him and see if he still drinks that much

Lol my son was eating that much as a newborn. If he’s hungry then feed him! You can’t over feed a baby, they will spit up if it’s too much.

Thank you everyone for your reply. My son usually has 90 ml / 60 ml. If he is active and stays up for 90 min the in the beginning he has 90 ml folllowed by 60 towards the end of his 90 min playtime.
These two days on separate occasions he has demanded 120 ml - note that this is not everytime but he is wants it he cries a lot, smacks his lips and keeps taking his fingers to the mouth. 
When I mentioned this to his pediatrician, he said no don’t feed my son over 90 ml and that he has no choice but to gulp down. Otherwise he may become obese as he is exclusive formula fed. This has worried me but at the same time making me very sad when I control the time he wants more than 90 ml. My son cries himself to sleep then. 
I wonder if it is possible that because I’ve upgraded his bottle teat from 0 months to 1 months (Philips Avent) he feels like he isn’t having enough?

Are you giving formula or breastmilk??? 
Make sure you are pace feeding as that is crucial to prevent over feeding
