Early blood test?

I'm scheduled for my pap tomorrow at my OB's office. Since I'm ttc I'm hoping she will also go ahead and give me a blood test. I've read online that blood tests are accurate as early as 6 to 8 DPO. I  will be exactly 6dpo. Has anyone else had luck this early?

The earliest you can run a RELIABLE blood work is 8 DPO! Bevore there is NO HCG in your blood!

I work with my OBGYN and I am CD21 as of today. I had a progesterone lab drawn today. That will be elevated before the HCG is elevated. Hopefully this helps!
