How long did you take progesterone ?

I’ve been on it since I got my BFP because of reoccurring miscarriages but I’m 13 weeks now and Im honestly scared to stop taking it. Did anyone have anything bad happen when they stopped? should I just keep taking it. My doc said she’ll probably take me off around 14 weeks but it’s giving me anxiety a little… lol

By 14 weeks your body no longer has to produce progesterone. It turns over to the placenta. Which will work fine by 14 weeks.

I stopped around 14 weeks! Your placenta by then will take over making the necessary progesterone. I understand how scary it is tho

I was weaned off at 13 weeks, done by 14… my sister was on it until 24 weeks with her IUI twins. Your dr will decide when the best time to take your off.

I did PIO every evening and Endometrin 3x per day until 12 weeks.

I have not have a miscarriage but took from weeks 8 until 12 due to low progesterone. After that the placenta takes over in hormone production.
