Concrete on kids playground ?

Does your kids daycare have a concrete seating area by the playground? My toddler goes to this daycare and there’s a seating area where it’s concrete  and he gets hurt all the time from falling and scraping and bumping into other kids. the other day one kid fell on her face and was bleeding really bad. It just doest seem safe to have a concrete area where kids play but maybe it’s common?

Its normal to haave cement or asphalt where kids play

Like where they can sit and eat on tables?tabled?? Yes I thought this was standard most places. Concrete is easiest where snack and food happen because spills can be easily hosed off or cleaned up plus if there are arts or crafts done a pressure washer it's an easy way to clean it up. Concrete under the play structure itself no but near by yes. Sounds like the teachers need to get a little better control over the kids if they are wild enough daily to be causing injuries
