Being video-taped

Some people I work with regularly do not complete their work.

I'm their direct boss.

I reported them to my direct boss and boss above. They took repeated warnings.

We had a deadline. Same people were late with the deadline but wanted to leave for the day.

I refused to sign a clearance and allow them to leave.

They literally harassed me and followed me around for the 2 hours while I tried to correct and finalize their errors.

We ended up arguing with me reminding them that if they'd allow me the time to finish, they'd be able to leave.

Heard today from my direct boss that they video-taped me without my knowledge.

It seems that after they asked me 50 million times to leave and I finally raised my voice along with them, they started filming to obviously make me look like the culprit.

This project is now done, and I won't see them until fall.

I'm frustrated with this.

How dare they film me.

How dare they not complete their work and then expect to walk away without it completed?

I feel like threatening to sue them.

Any suggestions on how to proceed.

Forget it and move on?
